Maggie was diagnosed with T1D just before Halloween. She remembers spending Halloween in the children’s ward while all her friends went out trick-or-treating. Maggie has grown from the scared, shy diabetic to an advocate who jumps at the opportunity to help raise awareness and ease the minds of newly diagnosed kids.
