At the start of each school year, Rohan teaches his classmates about what it’s like to live with T1D. It’s good practice for what he hopes is a career as a scientist someday! Rohan loves playing tag with his friends, Pokémon, and Christmas. He also takes karate classes and enjoys playing video games after school.

In addition to supporting families who are newly diagnosed with T1D, Rohan and his mom have also met with their Member of Congress to advocate for T1D research. Rohan is proud to have participated in a clinical trial and is excited to advocate for new T1D technology because it allows him to do every activity a kid his age normally does. “I can do and accomplish anything I set my mind to!”
