Pranav loves using technology and software to solve real-world problems and envisions himself using his passion to help solve problems that are related to T1D. He participates in a number of JDRF programs and events like JDRF One Walk (he raises funds through his team, Pranav’s Pioneers), advocating to Members of Congress, speaking at Asian community events, serving as a Youth Ambassador, and more! 

When he’s not busy with school, robotics competitions, and T1D advocacy, Pranav loves basketball, hanging out with his friends, hiking, and traveling. Pranav shares, “During my recent international trips to India, we shared knowledge and resources on diagnosing and managing T1D.” He also placed 8th at the Pokémon World Championship where he represented the United States competing against people from 35 different countries! Pranav wants to continue to use his love for software, technology, and AI to help the T1D community when he is older.
