Landon was diagnosed with T1D when he was two, so he doesn’t remember life without having T1D (which we have heard is somewhat of a “blessing”). He is very proud to have been one of 80 preschool kids who participated in the clinical trial for the Omnipod Horizon, which is now on the market today as Omnipod 5.

Landon loves being with friends and family and has huge support from family, his teachers, school nurses, and coaches in navigating school and sports while living with T1D. He has been a V1P for his Walk team multiple times—and he was the star of his local One Walk kickoff a few years ago!

Landon is looking forward to his time with Congress to help raise awareness on what it’s like to live life with T1D, why it’s important to continue funding research, and also how their progress (so far) has helped him to still have fun and be a kid with the wonderful technology that they (and he!) has helped bring to market!
