Lily was diagnosed with T1D in 2011 at only 19 months old! She doesn’t let T1D stop her from doing anything; for example, she plays volleyball and is a freshman varsity starter on her women’s flag football team.
Lily has lived her whole life with diabetes, and she feels a calling to pursue a career in pediatric endocrinology. “I’ve been able to accomplish every achievement because of my wonderful parents for pushing me and supporting me in everything I do, especially my T1D care.”
