Juliet is a junior at Windward School in Los Angeles, where most of her friends also go. She has loved skiing and dancing since she was little, and she continues to take dance classes multiple times a week and leaves to go skiing whenever possible. “I love the beach in Los Angeles, but nothing compares to the snow,” she says. Over the past two years, she has also developed a passion for playing bass guitar.
Since her diagnosis with type 1 diabetes, Juliet has found a strong interest in taking care of her body, spending much of her free time in the gym. Her experience with diabetes has also inspired her to consider pursuing a career in medicine. Juliet recognizes how fortunate she is to have a supportive team and is eager to give back. This year, she has decided to advocate for others and help those in need of support.
