Andrew enjoys Nascar, antique cars, hunting and playing basketball. At school he enjoys math and science, and is a proud member of both the STEM and Junior Beta Clubs. Andrew is also proud of the work he has done spreading T1D awareness throughout his community, at church and school and through participating in JDRF One Walk events as well. When Andrew grows up, he’s interested in becoming a Nascar driver, an artist or a Senator for his home state of Mississippi, with the hope that he’ll be able to achieve his dream of one day living “without type 1 diabetes.” Andrew is excited to come to D.C. this summer to play his part in helping that happen.
