She was a Walk Ambassador in 2009, her life with diabetes was featured in the Lake Oswego Review, and her Walk team, "Team Anna," has raised about $20,000 in four years. As a delegate, Anna wants to spread the word about type 1 and encourage Congress to continue research funding. In addition to her achievements as a JDRF advocate, Anna won the Champion of Character Award at her school. One day, she wants to have a family and be a neonatologist or an obstetrician.
