Cam is an enthusiastic rising 8th grader with a passion for learning. Recently honored as “Student of the Month” by the school administrators, he also earned Academic High Honors with Superior Effort, a prestigious distinction shared by only three other classmates. Outside of academics, Cam is a dynamic athlete who plays football, hockey, and tennis. He’s an avid fan of Sascha Zverev, the world’s #2 ranked tennis player, who also lives with T1D, providing Cam with extra inspiration.

Managing blood-sugar levels while playing sports is a challenge, but Cam handles it with determination and resilience. Diagnosed with T1D at just 16 months old, he’s never known life without it. Fortunately, Cam’s cousin Casey, who was diagnosed with T1D years earlier, was there to offer support and guidance, helping him navigate the journey with confidence. Cam aspires to become a doctor one day, driven by his experiences and a deep desire to help others.
