Cooper likes playing video games and hanging out with his friends—he has sleepovers with them almost every weekend. He plays percussion in his middle school band. One year, he beatboxed on stage at a JDRF Gala! When he grows up, Cooper would like to work in the video game industry as a game designer and tester. 

Cooper and his family really enjoy the JDRF One Walk and fundraising with their team, Cooper’s Troopers. Cooper has also participated in JDRF’s Promise to Remember Me Campaigns since he was a toddler. He likes speaking to his representatives about how their decisions affect the T1D community. Cooper is excited to be a Delegate to advocate for T1D research funding. “The technology I use on a daily and even minute-to-minute basis would not have been possible without funding like the Special Diabetes Program.”
