Hannah has been a dancer for over 14 years — she is trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. She is also a member of the Creative Writing Club at her school, enjoys making art, and studies Mandarin. She loves her family, her friends, and her dog, Poppy. 

Hannah recently mentored a younger girl with T1D at diabetes camp, and she was amazed at how much she learned from her. “She quickly became an inspiration to me.” Hannah is a JDRF Youth Ambassador and she and her mom enjoy connecting with newly diagnosed families in their community. Hannah is proud to speak out about life with T1D, whether it’s in a commercial for a JDRF fundraiser, leading a One Walk team (her team, Hannah’s Heroes has raised over $200,000 for JDRF since 2010!), or speaking at Galas. “I am privileged to get to know people who share the same battles I do.”
