JuJu is known as the hero amongst his family, and it’s easy to see why! Juju was diagnosed with T1D when he was only two years old, but his mom says that his bravery and strength has displayed since his diagnosis made earning the title of family hero easy. He says, “I take at least two shots a day. They hurt each time, but I am a big boy!” Although JuJu was diagnosed just last year, he and his family have participated in a JDRF One Walk, and JuJu’s mom has promoted T1D awareness on social media and connected with other T1D families.

JuJu loves all animals–especially dinosaurs, swinging, running, dancing, and playing with his siblings. Small, but mighty, JuJu is excited about getting to come to Washington to make sure his bravery and strength are on full display on Capitol Hill!
