Kennedy loves cheerleading for her Junior High. She is the fun one in the family, and she always makes people laugh. Kennedy was diagnosed with T1D in 2021, just three days before Halloween, and now her family celebrates her diaversary with a trip to Pojo’s, a local arcade.

Kennedy also has a big heart and loves spending time with her family and friends, whether cracking jokes or playing games. She loves being independent and always changes her sites and Dexcom by herself. Kennedy also participates in the local Breakthrough T1D Walk each year, raising money with family and friends to help find a cure. She loves going to Camp Hodia, Idaho’s T1D camp, where she swims, hikes, and has fun with other kids who understand life with diabetes.

T1D runs in Kennedy’s family. Her grandpa has it, too. So, she’s excited to be an advocate and help champion T1D research.
