Klaire may be young, but she has a big heart. A helper by nature, Klaire loves to help take care of little babies—she especially enjoys feeding them and playing with them. Klaire loves babies so much that her parents say she is the first one to spot a newborn or infant wherever she goes!

Klaire is also passionate about animals (kittens are her favorite) and participates in gymnastics, soccer, and dance. Now Klaire is excited to help make a difference in Washington by showing her elected officials how T1D affects her daily. “She will remember this several years from now and look back at the important role she played at such a young age,” her father says.
