Lucie is entering her junior year of high school in Seattle, WA, where she enjoys playing for her school’s cross country and lacrosse teams. In her free time, Lucie likes to run, bake, volunteer, and spend time with her family and friends.

Lucie was diagnosed with T1D seven years ago when she was nine years old, and ever since, she and her family have been volunteering with Breakthrough T1D. She enjoys working at Beat the Bridge, the PNW Gala, and many other events each year. Working to find a cure has been a large part of Lucie’s life since she was diagnosed, and it is very important to her to spread awareness about T1D.
