Noah is an amiable and determined kid who loves playing soccer, video games, and the clarinet and piano. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 5 years old, and this year marks his seventh year of living with T1D. Noah never lets diabetes slow him down—he gives everything his all. He’s also really into numbers and enjoys math, which comes in handy when calculating his carbs. When he grows up, Noah wants to be a lawyer, a doctor, or a musician who plays clarinet in a Broadway musical!
Noah was diagnosed with T1D the day before he was supposed to start kindergarten. While he was in the hospital, the only way the nurses were able to get him to do his finger pokes and injections was by bribing him with ice cream. Every year, his family celebrates his diaversary with an ice cream cake and by raising money and awareness for T1D. Noah loves seeing how many people rally behind him, and he hopes that one day, no kid will have to go through T1D alone.
