Olivia, 17, is passionate about contemporary fiction and creative writing. She loves crafting stories that inspire and connect with others. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys spending time with her Aussiedoodle, Missy, playing volleyball, and indulging in her love for chocolate.

Olivia has been actively fundraising for Breakthrough T1D, helping support research and advancements in T1D. She is excited to bring her voice to Breakthrough T1D’s Children’s Congress to advocate for better treatments and, one day, a cure.

“Living with T1D has taught me resilience and the power of community. I hope to use my experience to help others feel less alone and make a difference in the fight against T1D.”

Olivia’s dream for the future is to pursue a career that allows her to share stories, whether through writing, journalism, or advocacy.
