Omni is a fun and extroverted child who loves to sing, dance, and play with her older brother. Omni was diagnosed with T1D at just 1 year old and has been such a champ through it all! She has always been very independent and learned to do her own finger pricks to check her blood sugar before she even turned 2 years old! Omni loves to show off her diabetes tech and uses fun stickers to decorate them with.

Although Omni has not started elementary school yet, she already made a T1D buddy at her older brother’s school and enjoys bringing her new friend CGM stickers that she picks out especially for her! Omni is very proud of her T1D community and recently hosted a Diabetes Awareness Day at her daycare. She brought all the children a storybook to take home about a little girl who has T1D. She also brought T1D information packets for her daycare friends to share with their parents. Omni is on her way to being a great leader and advocate!
