Raelynn has been living with T1D for two and a half years now. Although it takes a little extra prep and planning, having T1D has not stopped Raelynn from doing what she loves to do. Raelynn is currently doing ballet, gymnastics, and softball. She has also wants to try wrestling. She spends much of her time encouraging other kids with T1D never to let it hold them back.
When Raelynn was diagnosed, her family decided to share their journey on social media. Since then, Raelynn has met lifelong best friends her age in the same situation. She loves making site-change videos to help the kids who are making site changes themselves. “I am thankful for the friends that I have met, and I like that my videos help kids that are newly diagnosed because I remember how scary that was.”
