Sachin loves everything engineering—he is always working on his next invention! Sometimes the inventions work, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they are useful, and sometimes they are just there to make someone laugh. For his recent science fair project, Sachin worked on a new kind of insulin pump that was even smarter than the one he uses! Sachin looks forward to the day he doesn’t have to worry about an insulin pump or any kind of diabetes, and he will eat the world’s largest bag of Sour Patch Kids.

In the meantime, Sachin does everything he can to help Breakthrough T1D. Ever since he was diagnosed at age 10, he has attended Breakthrough T1D Walks, Galas, and Community Summits to learn about exciting new technology that will help people living with T1D around the world.
