Every day at Theo’s house is Halloween! Theo loves dressing up and pretending he is a superhero or dinosaur, specifically an ankylosaurus, which is currently his favorite dinosaur. He is also a huge sports fanatic, and started playing Tiny Tot soccer last fall. He enjoys watching and playing basketball, soccer, football and golf with his parents and his older brother and sister. Because Theo is only four years old, his parents are his biggest advocates. His mom is a pharmacist who, since Theo’s diagnosis at just 20 months, has begun speaking about T1D at conferences nationwide. As Theo’s mom puts it, “diabetes is tough, but we are tougher.”
