Trevin’s enthusiasm for life, and a cure, is contagious. “It is one of my hopes and dreams that in my lifetime, a cure will be found, and I will do anything I can to help!” As an athlete, guitarist in his own band—which played at a recent JDRF Walk—and straight-A student living with T1D, Trevin’s zeal is matched by his many talents.

Another of those talents is promoting awareness. As a youth ambassador for his JDRF chapter, Trevin has been featured in his local newspaper. He has delivered inspiring speeches at JDRF events and private functions alike. “With my knowledge of T1D and living with it, I can meet and talk with Members of Congress and other decision making people … I want to leave a mark that leads them to never doubt the importance of T1D research.”
