Bella is a 13-year-old student and athlete who loves sports, learning, and serving her community. At age 10, she competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior Season 3 and even landed on the podium at Ninja Worlds before turning her attention to other activities. Diagnosed with T1D at age 6—just before starting first grade—Bella was fortunate to receive strong support from her family, teachers, and community. She knows that not every kid with T1D gets the same help, which can be dangerous and difficult.

As a T1D Ambassador, Bella works hard to raise awareness about diabetes at her school and in her community. She’s also a dedicated student and a proud member of the National Charity League. Believing that advances in T1D research and technology are key to helping everyone live more independently, she says, “I want everyone with T1D to feel as supported as I did so they can chase their dreams.” When she grows up, Bella dreams of playing Division 1 basketball, studying finance, and becoming an investment banker.
