A sophomore at Mercer Island High School, Micah can be found in the gym playing basketball, hanging with his friends, or playing ping-pong with his grandparents. He is a straight-A student, athlete, and brother to five siblings.

A lifelong Seattle sports fan, it is inspiring for Micah to see MLS Seattle Sounders star Jordan Morris and NHL Seattle Kraken star Kaapo Kakko succeed at the highest levels of sports with T1D. When Micah was first diagnosed with T1D, he was faced with many life-altering struggles. Despite this, he has worked very hard to combat his disease and live a normal life.
